A wonderful little quilt that is the perfect size for wall art! Six Ohio Stars, each comprised of blue and white prints, with some small scale black on white mourning prints for added interest, are separated by a sweet red on white striped sashing. Each star block measures approximately 6 ½ inches square with the sashing varying in width from 2 ½ to 3 inches. A blue chambray border approximately 2 ¼ inches wide frames this sweet quilt. The same blue chambray is used for the backing. Blocks are hand pieced with the sashing and border added by machine.

Overall cross hatch quilting is done completely by hand. The quilt is finished with a pillowcase edging that has been machine topstitched close to the edge. Completely original, this little treasure has seen some wear but is soft and beautiful and ready for your home. Professionally hand washed by Betsey.
