Wow, what spectacular graphics on this very patriotic quilt top! Using all solid color cottons the creator of this eye popping rendition of the classic Star of Bethlehem shouts “hooray, for the red, white and blue!” with full abandon. It’s amazing to us that no one has ever quilted this magnificent piece for either a bed or to hang joyfully on a wall! It would be the focal point for any patriotic holiday decorating or fantastic for use in that special room in your home or office.

Each diamond measures 2 3/8 inches per side with the red and blue 8 pointed stars measuring 8 ½ inches tip to tip. The four red stars are hand appliqued and the red, white and blue stripes are each 2 ½ inches wide. What a terrific piece just waiting to be finished, or turn over the edges to finish and use as bunting. There is discoloration in the top third of the quilt top that should come out with its first wash.
