A striking and very graphic fragment taken from a much larger quilt in the Log Cabin Courthouse Steps pattern. This beautifully designed, sophisticated fragment is stunning on the wall and contains gorgeous calicoes from the 1880’s in blues, black, burgundys and pink. Logs measure a mere 5/8 to ¾ of an inch in width. Both the backing and binding are a gorgeous same date fabric in black, blue and white calico with a hint of yellow. Reverse ties are in white. A beautiful design element to add just the right touch to a room as art on a wall or draped over a sofa or table. Professionally hand washed by Betsey.
