The wonderful and highly sought after Tumbling Blocks pattern available in a small size! This fragment was part of a much larger quilt created from beautiful early fabrics.

The tumbling blocks are comprised of two indigo blue and white cotton prints, chrome yellow, red and black calico and a small black and white mourning print. Pieced pink triangles complete the bottoms of the blocks. Hand quilting is executed in outline and parallel straight line stitching throughout. The quilt is backed in a lovely, small black, gray and white calico. The entire fragment is bound with a same date indigo blue and white print.

A lovely and very graphic bit of wall art or use as an accent piece on that special piece of furniture. Professionally hand washed by Betsey.
