A collection of 120 miniature double pink LeMoyne stars in 4 ½” blocks are set on point in each quilt to comprise this wonderful and elegantly simple pair of antique textiles. Both quilts are executed using just two fabrics; a beautiful dark double pink calico and a solid white. Each diamond shape mirrors the other in skillful execution of the hand pieced blocks and hand quilting.

In keeping with the clean, crisp two color palette the hand quilting is comprised of outlining in all of the pieced blocks and a wonderful double line tulip stitched in each joining block. With backings in the same white fabric as used on the front, this pair has ¼” bindings created from the backing fabric folding over to the front and then hand stitched down.

Decorating has an easy assistant with the purity and clean lines of two sweet and elegant star filled antique quilts. These quilts have been professionally hand washed by Betsey and can be sent to you on approval.
