What a wonderful find...Not only a wonderfully created graphic hooked
rug...but, there are two doves, each holding an Olive branch for peace.
Peace and understanding is what we need in our country today.
There is a border whose width varies according to design...from 3" to 5" in
a variegated Olive green. The border is outlined with a dark red,
creating an effect of waves in the ocean.
The main background is a variegated off white and tan. Each corner
displays bouquets of roses emulating Rose of Sharon as seen on numerous
mid 19th century quilts. There are other flowers in the bouquet with
names we are not sure of.
The center large basket measuring 13" by 6"...filled with a beautiful
flowering bouquet.
Stunning either hung as art or art on your floor in a non heavily
trafficked area of your home.
There is very, very little wear on the edge as indicative of careful use..
