What an amazing kit quilt! A kit quilt just means that you purchased
the backing stamped with a design and all the fabric...you did all the
work! Normally one does not see a kit quilt with this premier level of
applique and quilting. The applique stitches are so tiny they are almost
invisible, while the quilting stitches are tiny and even. A level of
ability that could execute any design they wished. Maybe she just wanted
to do her hand work and not bother to pick out the fabric .. just
conjecturing. 🙂
The color pallet is soft and soothing with a pale Aqua, peach, white,
yellow, rose, greens, orange, lavender and purple. The bonus here is
that it will fit perfectly a queen size bed as well as twin and double.
The reason is that this quilt may be turned in any direction!
