This magnificent Irish Chain quilt appears to be unused. When viewing this quilt I knew it had never been washed. We have now washed this quilt using an organic product..only clean..no residue...no odor!

7-1/2" blocks are used in the creation of this quilt. The small squares measure 1-1/2" with a border measuring 7". White areas in the border are 3" in width with the yellow and green triangles measuring apx. 6-1/2" X 4-1/2" X 4-1/2". The binding is turned from the back to the front measuring 1/4" and closed with tiny hidden stitches. The quilting in the border follows the white zig-zag pattern in rows 1/2" apart. Quilting stitches are abundant, small ..not tiny, but neatly executed. The white areas of the quilt are fully quilted with a crosshatch diagonal design in rows 1/2" apart. This quilting design is carried out throughout the quilt so one must say that the entire main body is quilted with a cross hatch design.

Not only are the graphics incredible, but this quilt is something that you can use either on a bed (perfect for a queen size bed or a covering for a king size bed) or as an amazing piece of art for your wall.
