A rare Center Diamond with surrounding diamonds in Lemon Yellow cotton
sateen. Yellow quilts, for some reason, are very hard to find. This stunning
quilt is machine pieced and all diamonds are beautifully hand outline
quilted. The 4-1/2" outer border is horizontally double line quilted
apx. 3" apart and continues from the 4-1/4" white areas pieces between
the outer array of stars and the outside border. The edge is turned over
from the front to the back and closed by hand. The graphics are fabulous!
All Stars are really hard to piece. This quilt will hang correctly when
using two pockets..top and bottom . Stunning also on a bed! I cannot
find any references to this design, which does not mean there aren't some,
but rare.
This lightly used quilt has two small areas on the outside edge that
needed repair ... the quilt is tagged as such with my label on the back.
I did not see these when purchasing.
