An unused child's quilt that I find just visually captivating. Comprised
of a true Indigo, a wonderful double pink, madder dyed calico, overdyed
green, brown prints and a wholecloth backing, of an earlier print of
chrome orange and brown on a tan background.
Comprised of four Ocean Wave pieced blocks, measuring apx. 11-1/2" X 12"
in a center medallion measuring 31" X 29". The triangles measure
2" x 2-1/2". The center square measures 7-3/8". The Ocean wave
measures 3" in width with the triangles the same as the triangles in the
blocks. The double Pink triangles joining the blocks measure 6" x 6" X 6-1/2".
There is an Indigo Calico border measuring 7-3/4" which includes
the 1/2" seperately applied double pink binding.
The piecing was executed by hand with such tiny stitches as I needed a
magnifying glass to actually see them!
