Looking at our Amish quilts, please take note that these colors are very
difficult to photograph. They are almost always a darker shade than
they show up in pictures. But as we always send on approval, you will be
able to see for yourself. The diamond in a square pattern is one of my
favorite patterns. This lovely crib quilt has never been used.
The two colors are actually a rich warm brown and a medium purple. The center
square on point has 15" sides and is beautifully quilted with a
medallion. The square around it is quilted with a running succession of
hearts. A baby quilt made with love. The outside 6-1/2" border has
beautiful vine quilting and is filled in with more hearts. The inner
2-1/2" border is quilted with a continuous row of hearts. There is
a separately applied 7/8" binding in the same medium purple.
Once again as with all the antique Amish quilts I have, they are machine
pieced and exquisitely hand quilted. I am happy to send this little gem
