CQ400 Ohio/LaMoyne Star Crib Quilt

This is a silk satin LeMoyne Star with broken dishes pattern joining blocks. This regal little quilt was created solely as embellishment and never meant for a child to use. Baby quilts are washed all the time; silk quilts are not. This piece was probably created for an affluent family's infant. I've seen formal evening wear made from the same fabric. Comprised of 40 6-1/2” blocks that have been machine pieced to create a stunning wall hanging for today's homes. The colors are this year's spring designer colors and would be exquisite on a wall or to place on the dining room table as decoration. The backing is an early rayon solid pink. This optical illusion quilt will enhance and add sophistication to any decor.
