This stunning and very sophisticated small quilt is actually part of a
larger quilt that is bound with original same date fabric. I love this
piece so much that it was hanging in our home for many years. As a result
there are four sleeves so you can properly hang this quilt in either
direction.
The fabrics tell us that the creator of this quilt was a member of an
affluent family as the fabrics used are the finest of quality. Wool
Challis is a combination of silk and wool fibers which create one of the
finest fabrics known to mankind. The color scheme is rich and
sophisticated, yet warm and comfortable feeling.
