This most unusual center medallion summer quilt was created using English piecing. This piece may have been made in the early 1950s from an amazing array of fabrics, from polished cotton to flannels, drapery to dress fabrics. This graphically stunning textile needs only to be bound and reverse tied to be ready for use, or if you choose, beautifully quilted. A unique adaptation of a 4 patch on point combined with a squares on point center medallion. Totally backed with a rusty red cotton fabric, the same fabric as the border of the coverlet.
