A fabulous Rolling Stars / optical Illusion Tumbling Blocks quilt top
ready for you to finish. Created all by hand in the 1880's. One can
even see many pieced diamonds that one would (I believe) never see on a
new quilt, where people today buy all the fabric they need. You can
actually find stars where at least one diamond was made up of small
pieces of fabric! An extra bonus is for a fabric junkie these fabrics
date from C.1845 to C.1885!...and some I have never seen ...
The hexagon blocks are created from diamonds with 3" sides. The entire
hexagon is 10" in width. We have calicoes, stripes, plaids, solids,
checks, with dozens of different fabrics that are happy to be together.
