This wonderfully hand pieced quilt top met with a mouse. The way it was
folded, a mouse chewed a hole right through the folded quilt, creating a
4" x 1-1/4" absence of fabric. One can either redo the blocks or
patch in a piece of fabric, which is how they might have done that 100 + years
ago. I have organically hand washed this top in cold water..and ironed
it.
There are some amazing Indigo printed fabrics along with an array of
wonderful calicoes joined together with horizontal sashing 3-3/4 wide,
while the vertical is 3-5/8" wide. This sashing is not pink, but an
unusual red. Each block measures 11" square and they are all hand pieced.
Double T quilts are unusual. This top is ready to be sent with free
shipping for your approval.
