It appears the this quilt was intended to be finished as a lap quilt or
a child's quilt. This may be the only quilt top that I have ever had with
one side of the binding already sewn on.
The fabrics are four wonderful overdyed greens and various double pinks
with red chimneys and a red binding. The logs measure 1-1/4 in width,
chimneys are 1-3/4 square and the binding is 3/4 inch and will become
apx. 1/4 finished size.
Being machine pieced this quilt top may be easily completed by adding
batting and backing, then tying, and finishing using the 3/4 inch
binding that is already attached...or quilted..whichever one chooses
