This meticulously machine pieced cotton Streak Of Lightning quilt top is
all ready for you to quilt by machine, hand quilt or just tie. This top
may be tied as it is machine pieced and therefore the piecing is tight
enough. This top was obviously pieced by an expert. What wonderful
colors used together.
Each brick shaped piece measures 1-3/4" X 3-1/2". The same fabric is
used for the entire length of each "Streak". There are very few repeats
of prints used for the "Streaks". All fabrics date from c.1880 and
earlier. All fabrics used are in mint condition. This is a piece of art
appropriate for a bed, or a wonderfully graphic geometric piece of
art for your wall.
