So unusual is this Flower Garden quilt top that looks like a Ship's Wheel instead of what we are used to seeing. This is the only one with this design that I have ever seen in 38 years of finding Antique textiles! There are some pieces that have been fussy cut! There are a ton of fabrics with no repeats. Every calico is a different pattern, where some of the solids are repeats matching the calicoes.

Each design measures 7" across with each hexagon measuring 1-1/2" with 7/8" sides. This quilt top is a project as part of the top does not lie flat. There are 4 hexagons that should be replaced and I am happy to enclose the same date fabric for this purpose. One could either fix this problem or reduce the quilt in size. An English pieced top does not have to be quilted as the pieces will not come apart. Instead the quilt could be reverse tied. Truly a remarkable quilt top!
