A wonderful opportunity to own an exquisite silk quilt top that you may
hang as is, or you or I may finish it by stuffing, backing, reverse tying
and adding sleeves for hanging. This beautifully executed piece is
foundation pieced with all work being executed by hand.
Created in 4" blocks, with "logs" 1/2" to 3/4" in width. The center
triangles measure 1 3/4" X 1 1/4" X 1 3/4". All fabrics are either silk
or silk velvet. The color range is very Jewel-like, with a definite
sophisticated black influence as joining strips. There appears to be a
complete color range with these fabrics.
A very sophisticated piece of textile art for one's home. It is amazing
how an Antique piece of textile art seems so modern and therefore can
accent the entire range of one's home decor.
